How to download Youtube videos using Mozilla browser

Did you know that you can download the videos from Youtube using your Mozilla browser? It's a very small plugin that simply works great on downloading Youtube videos in an Mp4 format. You may be able to play those downloaded videos using your video player like VLC and windows media player. I'm gonna show how to do this, and it won't take much time.

Here's how to download Youtube videos:

1. Open your Mozilla Firefox browser
2. Next go to this plugin link DownloadHelper
3. Next click the Add to Firefox button. (You may need to click ALLOW)

4. Downloading process will take place in a matter of seconds depending on your internet speed.

5. Next click the INSTALL NOW button.

6. After you've successfully installed the plugin, go to Youtube Videos - you should be able to see 3 colored circles rotating at the left side of the navigational bar. You'll also notice a very small arrow pointing downward - click on that. Please see screenshot below.

7. Next the video resolution that you wish to download. The higher the resolution the better but the longer it will take for you to download it.

8. Specify the location that you want to save your videos. Then click the SAVE button.

9. When downloading is finish, you can now play the video using your media player like VLC or windows media player.

This is so far the best Youtube downloader that I've tried and I hope you find this useful too. Also you can save mp4 format videos to your mobile phones or ipad. Have a great day.
